Interaction Designer
Every day, thousands of pharmacists, doctors and nurses who use our software
care for millions of patients. By making their user experience more intuitive
and efficient, you'll play an important part in improving the quality of patient
care.
As an Interaction Designer, your role is vital to our development process.
You'll steer interface design, create prototypes, research the user experience,
and collaborate with teams of software developers to promote user-centered
design. The candidate will be customer focused and have the ability to
pro-actively communicate, work, and contribute in a small team environment. The
candidate must be flexible and results oriented.
Job Requirement Essential
- Employ user centered design practices and principles to create world-class, brand-leading experiences
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to assess product requirements; the designer will create UI models, user task and interaction flows, screen designs, user-interface interaction details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience for various online products
- Organize design details into a complete user interface design specification that will be used as a blueprint for development
- Partner with user research team members to better understand the user, test the usability of features and conceptual designs
- Have practical experience employing user centered design methods
- Be self-motivated and be able to make logical decisions to ensure the overall success of the project by creating designs that seamlessly address customer and business concerns and objectives
- Keep abreast of current design tools, techniques and methodologies
Skills and Qualifications Required
- At least 5 years of solid industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, user interface designer, or similar role, designing GUI’s for websites and web applications
- Advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Design, Cognitive Psychology or other related discipline
- Should have experience with international and localization design considerations
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams a must
- Solid familiarity with HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Flash as well as working knowledge of designing Rich Internet Applications (RIAs)
“Nice to Have” Skills
- Working knowledge of visual design and typography principles
- Ability to create personas, profiles, and usage scenarios based
- Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferred but not required

Location: Middleton, WI or Bellevue, WA
Build\Release Engineer
This position is for a member of the Build Team. Short term responsibilities
include administering the source code control system; and performing code
builds, packaging, and deployment to development, test, staging, and production
environments; as well as rollout release planning and execution of release
management tasks.
Longer term, this person will be expected to participate in the design of and
accountable for implementing improvements to the automated continuous build
system, packaging, and deployment practices at Pharmacy OneSource.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with engineers and developers to build, package, and deploy all internal/external system components
- Create and maintain tools for on-demand and automated nightly builds and for deployment of builds across multiple environments
- Assist in developing a system for generating an accessible library of easily accessible build artifacts for quick deployment and testing
- Perform multiple daily builds for multiple software releases
- Assist with diagnosing and debugging installation and configuration failures
- Administration of source code control repository, e.g. controlling access and creating branches
- Manage several applications deployments to multiple QA environments in an effective and efficient manner
- Responsible for continued development and implementation of the continuous build system and compatibility with the automated test suite

Skills and Qualifications
- 4-year degree in a technical discipline. CS degree a significant plus, MS a plus
- Requires 1+ years SCM/Build/Release Engineering experience as part of an Internet based business or for some other web development organization
- Requires 3+ years experience in build/release engineering. Must have worked on a product that was released for public consumption. Experience with short release cycles is a plus
- Knowledge of administering all versions of Windows OS
- General understanding of ASP, ASP.NET, C#, C++, COM, HTML, XML, IIS, SQL.
- Understanding of automating build and deployment processes
- Experience with tools such as Visual Studio 2005/2008, Subversion (or similar version control software), MSI Installers, TeamCity (or similar continuous integration tool)
- General understanding of database versioning and deployment, specifically Microsoft SQL
- Familiar with software lifecycle methodology and software engineering techniques as they relate to the Build and Release Engineer role
- Systems/Unit Testing and test driven development (TDD)
- Familiarity with leading Agile practices such as XP, TDD, continuous integration, and Scrum
