Pharmacy OneSource: What successes have you seen so far with Sentri7?

Sarah-Ann Stephens: I like the fact that we can follow any patient in the hospital at real time. I can look up anything I want and I can run any report with Sentri7.

Pharmacy OneSource: How has Sentri7 helped you in the pharmacy department?

Sarah-Ann Stephens: As a department we follow certain patient groups daily and Sentri7 has allowed for this to occur. For example some of the lists of patients we follow include:

1. all patients in the hospital who have a CrCr < 50 and make dose adjustments or recommendations on them
2. any patient on warfarin with or without a recent INR ordered
3. all patients on broad spectrum antibiotics
4. IV to PO medication opportunities
5. all patients on vancomycin (we have a vancomycin dosing service)

Pharmacy OneSource: Do you have other departments using the program?

Sarah-Ann Stephens: Yes: infection prevention and the diabetes care team. I am just setting up the dietary. (TPN and warfarin education, etc.)

Pharmacy OneSource: What do you like best about Sentri7?

Sarah-Ann Stephens: I like the real time aspect of the program and the ability to run reports.

Pharmacy OneSource: Any other comments you'd like to make about Sentri7 or Pharmacy OneSource:

Sarah-Ann Stephens: I have been very pleased with my account manager, he has been very helpful and very willing to teach me anything I am not comfortable with.
