August 18, 2016 – The Health division of Wolters Kluwer, a leading global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, announced today the release of updates to its Sentri7® electronic surveillance solution, including the new technology for Direct CDA Automation of reporting to the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN).
Sentri7 is committed to streamlining the workflow of infection preventionists to minimize time spent on documenting and reporting events to NHSN, and maximize their time preventing infections. With the new Direct CDA Automation, Sentri7 users can now send all reporting documents to NHSN directly from within Sentri7 with just one click. This capability eliminates manual log-in and upload of documents to the NHSN portal, greatly improving efficiency and reducing the potential of clerical errors in submitting reports.
