Information We Collect
When you use the Web Services, we will ask for or receive “Personal Information” about you. Personal Information is information relating to you, from which you can reasonably be identified. Personal Information may include your first and last name, Web Services login credentials, company name, physical address, email addresses, telephone numbers, online identifiers, location data, behavioral or demographic attributes, past transactional behavior on the Web Services, and information obtained from third parties.
You are under no obligation to provide us with Personal Information, but your refusal to do so may prevent you from accessing and using the Web Services or using certain Web Service features.
Like most websites, when you use the Web Services we collect “Other Information” which does not relate to you as an individual and does not enable you to be identified.
In some instances, we will combine the Other Information we collect with Personal Information to better understand your interests, to help us maintain data accuracy, provide you with a personalized Web Service experience and to deliver the information, services, resources and products that are most relevant and useful to you and as described below. If we combine Other Information with Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information.
How We Collect Information

We will send you emails which could contain certain cookies, web beacons and tokens which enable us to, among other things, determine whether you have opened or forwarded the email and/or clicked on links contained in the email. We use this information (which includes Personal Information) to customize advertisements and Web Site content you will receive, even after you have closed the email, and to determine whether you have made any inquiries or purchases in response to the email.
We will also automatically collect information (which includes Personal Information) about your use of the Web Services through the technologies described below. The following descriptions are designed to provide you with additional detail about our current approach to information collected from automated tracking technologies.
Web Utilization Data. Our servers automatically capture and save Web Utilization Data. Examples of such information include:
The number of, and specific, links you click within the Pharmacy OneSource Websites;
The date and time of your visit;
The web page from which you arrived to our Pharmacy OneSource Website or the referring source that brought you to our Pharmacy OneSource Website;
The web page to which you depart to from the Pharmacy OneSource Website;
The pages and content you viewed on the Pharmacy OneSource Websites, including white papers, blog posts or other resources and information available on the Pharmacy OneSource Website;
Your progress through any interactive content on the Web Services; and
Certain searches/queries that you conducted via our sites, the activities performed, and actions taken on our Pharmacy OneSource Websites.
Web Beacons and Tracking Pixels. We use Web beacons, HTML5 local storage and other similar technologies to (i) manage access to, and use of, the Web Services, (ii) provide personalization, and (iii) help us understand what services our visitors are accessing and how much time they spend accessing them.
Device Information. We will collect information about the computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device you use to access the Web Services. Such information will include your IP address, geolocation information, unique device identifiers, browser type, browser language and other transactional information.
“Do Not Track” Signals. Some Web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to Web sites that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. However, these Web browsers communicate “Do Not Track” signals differently, making it unworkable to consistently honor such requests. As a result, our Web Services are not designed to respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser. These are known as session cookies. Others remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. These are known as persistent cookies and enable us to remember things about you as a returning visitor. If you do not want cookies to be stored, then you may turn off certain cookies listed below individually or you can select the appropriate options on your web browser to delete some or all cookies. Please note, however, that if you block some or all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to use or access all or parts of the Web Services, such as being able to log on to customer specific areas.

Our targeting and advertising cookies collect information about your Web Services browsing history in order to make advertising of our services more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign.

The information stored in the Cookies from our Web Services (i) is used internally by us and our affiliates, and (ii) will be used and managed by third parties at our request to provide services, including advertising services relating to our products and services, and to improve the Web Services and the experience of the user browsing our Web Services.
How We Use Information
We use Personal Information (unless otherwise restricted by law), for the following purposes:
Confirm your identity and that of your business. We will use your Personal Information to confirm your identity and the business that you work for, as well as your role at that business. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests to make sure that your enquiry is genuine and is not being made for fraudulent reasons or is spam.
Engage in and Process Transactions. We will use Personal Information because it is in our legitimate interests to use your Personal Information to manage your business’ relationship with us and to use your Personal Information to keep you updated about the status of customer service requests. We use your Personal Information to perform our obligations under a subscription or license agreement with your business, where we would be unable to provide those services to your business without that information about the end users of the Web Services. We may also use your Personal Information to comply with a legal obligation relating to how we manage our business or our relationship with your business.
Provide and Personalize the Web Services. We will use your Personal Information, because it is in our legitimate interests, to help create and personalize content on the Web Services, facilitate your use of the Web Services, improve quality, track marketing campaign responsiveness, and evaluate page response rates.
Reporting. We will use your Personal Information to create utilization reports regarding the usage of the Web Services, because it is in our legitimate interests to gather information allowing us to improve our Web Services.
Provide Targeted Advertising. We will use your Personal Information, including demographic preference and other similar information, because it is in our legitimate interests to aim to provide you solely with targeted advertising of our services that is relevant to you. This means users see advertising that is most likely to interest them. This improves both the viewer’s experience and the effectiveness of the ads. Provide Marketing and Other Communications. We will use your Personal Information to provide marketing or other communications about our products and services by by email, direct mail and telephone, and to deliver personalized website experiences, and to share information about relevant products, services, best practice information, industry news and events. You are entitled to opt out to us contacting you by email for marketing purposes through the unsubscribe link found in emails you receive from us.
Unsubscribing will not affect our use of the Personal Information prior to you unsubscribing but it will mean that we will not be able to contact you about the services we may be able to offer you or your business in the future. If you are a registered user of our products or services, we will continue to use your Personal Information to send you emails about updates, upgrades, scheduled downtime or other necessary information related to your use of the Web Services.
Surveys and Polls. We will use the Personal Information you provide us when participating in a survey or poll for marketing or market research purposes, because it is in our legitimate interests to gather information allowing us to improve our marketing activities.
Research, Development and Internal Purposes. We will use your Personal Information for internal purposes such as system administration, risk analytics, compliance, auditing, and data analysis. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests to use your Personal Information for internal research and development purposes, allowing us to create new products and services, and to test and improve the quality of our Web Services.
Customer Support. If you contact us for customer support, we will ask you to provide Personal Information to verify your identity and other information about your computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device and about the issue you are trying to resolve. In such event, it is in our legitimate interests to use your Personal Information to further communicate with you, to respond to your inquiry and to address the issue you are experiencing. We will record your requests and our responses for quality control purposes.
Provide WK Online Communities. For some the Pharmacy OneSource blog, you will have an opportunity to post comments. To the extent you decide to post any Personal Information on this forum, it is published on the basis of your consent to publish it in order to take part in discussions for which you decided to post it. Please remember that any information disclosed in comments to a blog post is public. We encourage you to exercise caution when disclosing Personal Information in these forums, as this information is made available to other users. Do not disclose information in these public forums that might be considered confidential or proprietary or that you do not wish to be publicly available or that you are prohibited from disclosing. You are entitled to withdraw your consent to the publication of your Personal Information by contacting us at the email address listed below to request that we remove your comment from the Pharmacy OneSource Website. Withdrawing your consent will not affect our use of the Personal Information prior to you withdrawing that consent but it will mean that your post will not be seen in the future.
Legal Obligations. We will disclose your Personal Information as we believe necessary or appropriate: (i) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence, (ii) to comply with legal process, either within or outside your country of residence, (iii) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence, for national security and/or law enforcement purposes, (iv) to enforce our terms and conditions, and (v) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
We will use, transfer, and disclose Other Information we collect for any purpose, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If we are required to treat Other Information as Personal Information under applicable law, then we will only use it in the same way that we are permitted to use and disclose Personal Information.
Sharing of Information with Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or lease your Personal Information to third parties without your consent. However, we will share Personal Information to further our business operations and as described below. We will share Personal Information with the following types of third parties:
Service Providers. We will disclose your Personal Information to third parties that perform certain functions on our behalf, such as to provide analytics and site usage information, to provide certain Web Services or other products or services that you or your business have subscribed to, provide outsourced help with the operations of the Web Service functions, provide marketing and promotional assistance, and provide other services related to the operation of our business. In such cases, however, we require that such authorized third-party service providers institute safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information.

We will disclose information about you (i) if we believe in good faith that we are required to do so by law or legal process, (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, or (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity.
Business Transfers. We reserve the right to transfer Personal Information to a purchaser or successor entity in the event of a sale or any other corporate transaction involving some or all of our business.
Subscribing Organizations. When your use of the Web Services is through a subscription obtained by your employer, that subscribing organization will be provided access to your Personal Information and certain utilization data about the Web Services consistent with the terms of such organization’s subscription agreement.
Accrediting Organizations: To the extent a Web Service is capable of tracking and redeeming credits for professional accreditation, such as continuing education credits, upon your valid request through the Web Services, we, and/or our service providers, will disclose Personal Information to accrediting organizations so that you may redeem your accumulated continuing education credits.
Public Sources. We will check your Personal Information by searching for your name and that of your business in publically available and private databases of business and individuals, which will use the details entered by us to provide us with the search results. For example, we may use databases such as those retained by LinkedIn for this purpose.
We may share Other Information we collect for any purpose unless prohibited by law. We may share aggregated, anonymous Other Information, such as aggregated statistics, usage information and demographic data with third parties, including advisors and advertisers. When we provide this Other Information, we perform appropriate procedures so that the data does not identify you.

“Share”, “Social Media”, or “Email a Friend” Functions and Public Forums
By providing us with Personal Information about other people, you warrant that they have provided you with their consent to receive the relevant “share”, “social media”, or “email a friend” communication.
Some of our Web Services may provide areas where you can publicly post information. All the information (including any of your Personal Information) that you post will not be private and will be accessible to anyone with Internet access, and may be read, collected, and used by others. You should use caution when posting any personal data to these public areas.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security features designed to help protect your Personal Information from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of or access to Personal Information transmitted, stored or otherwise processed by us. For example, when a user places an order on our website or application or accesses their account information, that user may be offered the use of a secure server. A secure server encrypts information a visitor inputs before it is sent to us and is also used to securely store Personal Information.
We store your Personal Information in a data center with restricted access and appropriate monitoring and use a variety of technical security measures designed to secure your data. Additionally, we use intrusion detection and virus protection software. We maintain policies and practices designed to limit access to your Personal Information to employees who need such access to carry out their job responsibilities.
Please be advised, however, that while we have created secure and reliable Web Services for users, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to/from us via the Web Services or e-mail cannot be guaranteed. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will always be unable to defeat our security measures. Accordingly, we, and our affiliates, are not responsible for the security or confidentiality of information transmitted or accessible via Web Services, email or the Internet.
You should take steps to protect yourself, especially online and take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail or other transmissions. In addition, your access to many of the Web Services and content may be password protected. You should take precautions to protect your user names and passwords, and we recommend that you refrain from disclosing your usernames and passwords to anyone. We also recommend that you sign out of your account or service at the end of each session. You may also wish to close your browser window when you have finished your work, especially if you share a computer with someone else or if you are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.
Retention and Deletion
We will only store your Personal Information for as long as:
We will keep a record of the Personal Information that we receive from you in order to answer your enquiry, to respond to your request for further information, in response to an enquiry from one of our counter parties or while providing the Web Services. We will keep a copy of your Personal Information held for the specific purpose for which it was provided. We are located in the United States, which is a country that has not been deemed to offer adequate data protection by the European Commission. If you do provide your Personal Information to us, please note that you are doing so on the basis that you explicitly consent to the transfer of your Personal Information outside the EEA. The potential consequence of you explicitly consenting to this is that there is a risk that your Personal Information will not be protected in a manner that complies with European Data Protection Legislation, to the extent applicable to you.
Special Information for Parents
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from anyone under the age of 13, unless or except as permitted by law. Any person who provides information through the Web Services represents to us that he or she is 13 years of age or older. If we learn that information has been collection from a user under 13 years of age on or through the Web Services, then we will take the appropriate steps to cause this information to be deleted. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has become a member of the Web Services or has otherwise transferred information to the Web Services, please contact us using our contact information below to have that child’s account terminated and information deleted.
Your Choices About Collection and Use of Your Information
You may opt out of having your Personal Information: (i) collected by us; (ii) used by us for certain secondary purposes; or (iii) used by us to send you promotional correspondences by contacting us via postal mail, email, or telephone at the addresses and telephone number below, or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in an email you receive from us; provided, however you may still receive automatically-generated product emails regarding the maintenance of your account, such as emails concerning passwords or suspension or expiration of your account, to the extent applicable.
Access to and Ability to Correct Personal Information
We strive to maintain the accuracy of the personal information collected through our Web Services. We will provide you with access to the Personal Information you provide through the Web Services for as long as we maintain that information in a readily accessible and retrievable format. We will also work with you to correct any information you submitted to us.
There are additional means to correct, amend or delete (if applicable) your Personal Information or update your preferences. For example, you may update your preferences at any time. Or, if you no longer wish to receive information about our products or services, you may update your account preferences (where available), check the appropriate box when registering and/or utilize the “unsubscribe” mechanism within the communications that you receive from us.
